A Tsunami of Kindness

A few weeks ago my family and I took an unexpected trip to Hawaii. We knew it was time for us to go somewhere so we followed our hearts, cashed in our air miles, and went. We decided that for a trip that far, two weeks was necessary. The thing was, we only made reservations for the second week. Making Small Acts a Natural Part of Your Life

Start to pay attention to literally every interaction you have and ask yourself:

1) What was my intent? Neutral? Helpful? Empathetic? Not Sure? Etc.

2) Making this way of behaving natural begins with awareness of your intent toward others; without judgement, evaluation, or in-depth exploration. (It ain't that big of a deal!)

The Intent of This Website

The intent of this website is to attract individuals who are interested in personal and organizational transformation. The results of transformation are irreversible. The results of change are reversible. For example, if your organization had a committed champion of inclusion and made significant changes during her tenure and upon being replaced by a different executive, the change returned to its original state, then cultural transformation did not occur.

Therefore, it is vitally… Continue

Practicing Small Acts within My Community

Dear Ones,

I just returned home from a brief walk "uptown" in my neighborhood to pick up a package and it was an amazing little experience! As I left the house I made a conscious decision to practice small acts as i walked. Immediately my neighbor Chip appeared - we know each other and are friendly but don't talk too much - we just had a delightful little exchange.

I picked up a couple of pieces of trash & a bottle for recycling and just around the first corner there was a herbie… Continue

Performing Covert Small Acts

I think the the most powerful small acts are when people don't even know who it came from. This story illustrates what I mean. There is a girl at work who always has snacks in her drawer that she…Continue

Pedro: I love your comments, insight, and most of all your humor! You make it easy to swallow some challenging medicine. If we consider personal growth to be medicine, some of us, I suspect do.

There's a popular saying that, "the Truth hurts." Then we say that, "the Truth will set you free." So are we programming ourselves to believe that Freedom hurts? I think that if someone takes your statements as harsh then…
